Mary specializes in shading from dark to light eyeliners, natural looking lash enhancements, soft powder fill or hair stroke eyebrows and blush. Her full lip tints range anywhere from a natural cinnamon color to vibrant colors like electric fuchsia. Men and women are thankful for her expertise in simulated hair follicles to give the illusion of a full head of hair with scalp pigmentation. She also does amazing scar camouflaging and the allusion of protrusion areola restoration for breast cancer survivors. Mary’s artistic talent shines in the work she does tattooing, it is truly her passion to help others look their best and she takes her business very seriously.
After mastering the art of cosmetic tattooing she decided she wanted to be the best permanent cosmetic artist ever, wanting to learn more about the skin and its layers. She put herself through Esthiology School, learning everything she could about the skin. Mary’s perfectionism not only shows in her beautiful and natural looking Permanent Cosmetics, but she also graduated top of her class at Central Beauty School. Along with her own successful permanent cosmetics business out at Walking Bear Ranch she worked for seven years, part time at Aveda, Body N Sol in Lakeville doing skin care.
She’s had advanced training with Aveda, Dermalogica and SkinCeuticals. Mary loves helping people with their skin and almost all her beautiful friends working out at Body N Sol have had their permanent cosmetics done by her. If you don’t want to look at pictures your welcome to stop by Body N Sol to view her work close up. While there, be sure to check out the salon and spa services with only the crème of the crop stylists, massage therapists and estheticians. Mary trained with Dr. Pat Lam, board certified Anti-Aging health practitioner from Toronto Canada and learned to remove a wide variety of minor skin surface irregularities.
With radio and high frequency technology from Mary’s Lam Probe machine and her expertise, she can remove minor skin irregularities that occur as we age, such as skin tags, cherry angiomas, fibromas, telangiectasia or (broken capillaries) on the face and nose, cholesterol deposits along the delicate eye tissue, some hyperpigmentation and clogged pores. It is not uncommon for her clients to leave her office with a few Lam Probe removals, especially since these are considered minor skin irregularities that aren’t typically covered by medical insurance. Mary has also been using Lumiderm light therapy for faster healing after her permanent cosmetic procedures. This light energy penetrates your skin cells and speeds up your recovery time.
It also stimulates your collagen without doing any damage. Mary keeps updated with all the newest and advanced technology for cosmetic skin care. She will do free cosmetic consults and is very helpful in directing you to the best Plastic Surgeons or Dermatologists she knows. Mary’s artistry and true concern for her clients has grown her business. She’s had people come from all over the United States to have her do their permanent cosmetics. Mary may show her work at a few expos a year for fun, but rarely advertises since most of her clients are word of mouth referrals. Mary’s dear friend and owner of the Lakota Day Spa, Judith Hanks has talked Mary into coming out to her spa in Pepin, Wisconsin several times a year to do permanent cosmetics. Judith wanted Mary because there was no one in the area with her expertise. Mary is highly respected in the skin care industry and receives referrals from the prestigious Edina Plastic Surgery Clinic. Mary also did Dr. Elizabeth Hegburg’s eyeliner from the Skin Rejuvenation Center in Edina.
